Compassionate Care
Hospice Services

Hospice is designed to provide comfort and support to patients and their families when an illness no longer responds to a cure-oriented treatment. With hospice, the focus of health care is on addressing all symptoms of disease to ensure patient dignity and provide the greatest quality of life. This means pain management and comfort is our highest priority. Our philosophy is that hospice care affirms life, recognizes dying as a normal process and neither hastens or postpones death.

At Compassionate Care Hospice, we believe that every individual should be cared for holistically with love and compassion. Every patient is important to us and we work hard to ensure that all of our patients have a peaceful, dignified passage. To obtain our hospice care, a physician referral is required.

Did You Know?

A Duke study shows patients live longer with Hospice Care. Why? Because hospice care allows patients and their families to make the most of the time they have together. In addition, the Duke University study suggests that hospice care increases not only the quality of that time, but the duration of it as well. The study showed that patients who received hospice care lived an average of 29 days longer than those who did not receive hospice care.

With our hospice team, you or your loved one will receive the most compassionate care at the end of life.
