Volunteering with us: Volunteering your time for hospice is often seen by many people as way for your “role to align with your soul.” Read that sentence again because it really sums up what hospice volunteering is all about!
As a hospice volunteer, you’ll be with others the last few months of their life. This doesn’t always mean the 11th hour vigil, either. Experiences can often be so engaging you might think, “how is this person on hospice?” The opportunities we have are varied and fulfilling. Interested? Then we’d like to meet you and share more information about the types of activities you can do as a hospice volunteer (not all volunteer tasks are directly involved with patient care). We will answer any questions you have and do our best to share with you what the volunteer experience will be like, the training involved and the on-going support you will receive.
